This Gevrey Chambertin offers a beautiful ruby color. The nose is delicious with notes of black fruits and spices. The palate is fruity, generous and spicy. Bright ripe purple. A little oak along with a suave density of dark fruit, juicier than the village Gevrey, with noticeably more density, darker fruit, a little bit of spice behind, and some length. There is a wilder aspect which I think has been successfully tamed. Drink from 2025-2030.
