After a natural fermentation in cement tanks, the wine is racked into oak barrels of German/Austrian origin, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and remains for at least 18 months, followed by further aging in the bottle for 6 months. The vineyard is very stony, composed of Arenaria-Calcare known as Pietraforte, rich in quartz etchings, giving an elegant complexity and balance. With time, the wine shows juicy fruit, strong minerality, and acidity integrated with elegant tannins. The wine has great potential for aging but is also enjoyable in youth.
