This wine is a blend of two Santa Maria Vineyards. The younger plantings are from Rancho Ontiveros Vineyard and the old vine plantings are from Rancho Vinedo Vineyard, planted in 1973. Flat out delicious. Pretty and silky, freshly picked wild strawberries, juicy cranberry, earl grey tea leaves, turned earth, Goji berries, hints of cola and subtle sage spice, bright acidity, taut and alive. Did we mention its delicious? Enjoy just above cellar temp (55-60 degrees) next to a campfire.
